FIFA have announced a list of 36 match officials who will be attending a preparation seminar for World Cup 2018 between 25 and 29 November 2017.

At this stage it is understood that provided they pass the seminars and tests between now and the tournament, each official will be appointed either as a Referee or Support Referee, with the latter expected to take control of the Video Assistant Referee system likely to be approved by IFAB for next year's tournament.
